On the 13th July 2013, four of the biggest sounds in London (Saxon International, Channel One, Reggae Roast and Unit 137) converge inna Brixton Town, joining forces for an unforgettable night of positive vibrations and high energy bass lines. Demonstrating the rich heritage of UK sound system culture from old to new Reggae Roast once again highlight the strength of the UK Dub movement and why they are currently running tings in London.

The Reggae Roast Jamdown sessions are famous for showcasing the best dubwise acts from across the globe at Plan B, arguably South London's best club venue. With an EXTRA 10K OF BASS being added to the already massive Funktion-One sound system (just for this event) cheap & tasty cocktails (supplied by Wray And Nephews) and an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, there is no reason to miss this very special night.

Saxon International started playing out as a party set back in 1976 and over the years Saxon have become internationally known as one of the Number one U.K Soundsystems. Artists such as Papa Levi, Maxi Priest, Smiley Culture & Tippa Irie all started their careers on Saxon and they are the only British Soundsystem to win the 'World Cup Clash' in 1994. A regular at Notting Hill Carnival and Soundsystem nights all across the globe, Saxon are sure to bring their heavyweight dubplates and Rub-a-dub selections!

Channel One is one of the world's top sound systems and have been spreading their message of consciousness and positivity for over 3 decades. Mikey Dread and Ras Kaleb have played at nearly 30 consecutive Carnivals and recently added to their fantastic reputation by winning the Redbull Culture Clash by beating the likes of Goldie's Metalheadz, Skream & Benga, and Souljazz Records by popular vote. In huge demand at festivals and parties across UK and Europe this Summer they are taking time out from their busy schedule to come a play another monstrous show at Reggae Roast Jamdown where they'll demonstrate why they are considered one of the UK's top Reggae powerhouses - Real heavyweight sound system bizniz coming at ya....

Since forming in 2007, Reggae Roast have forged a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of the UK Dub / Reggae scene. Combining the label, events and sound system they are spreading the conscious message in the music far and wide, whilst gaining a reputation as one of the key players in the new wave of British Reggae.
